In bread and pastry production, mixers, slicers, and baking trays are in constant operation. Over time, these machines can suffer wear and tear, leading to risks of metal contamination — such as broken screws, worn blade fragments, or chipped tray edges.

 

  1. Raw Material Inspection: Use bulk-feed metal detectors to check incoming flour, sugar, and other raw materials before storage.
  2. Finished Product Inspection: Install a conveyor-type metal detector before final packaging to catch any contaminants introduced during processing.

  3. Recommended Sensitivity: For bread and bakery products, we recommend detection capabilities of φ0.3 mm ferrous, φ0.4 mm stainless steel, and φ0.5 mm non-ferrous to meet or exceed most export standards, including HACCP and BRC requirements.
