The Needle Detective Handheld Needle Detector is a powerful handheld needle, staple, and small metal object detector. This powerful detector can locate a paper staple at 1/2" and a sewing needle at 1 1/2". The Needle Detective is a very versatile and powerful hand held mixed metal detector. Hand-held type needle detector designed specifically for detection of broken or complete needles in garments and fabrics. The Needle Detective handheld needle detector is designed for several applications including woodworking metal detection, materials inspection, etc. It’s ideal for pin-pointing metal in fabrics, canvas, plastics, and other materials. The Needle Detective magnetic needle detector provides an excellent solution for the inspection of garments that have been "contaminated" with attached metal decorations. Such garments are often difficult, or impossible to scan by other types of needle detectors. The Needle Detective operation is very simple; just hold the detector and move it over the surface you wish to scan. Whenever metal is detected an audible alarm is activated along with a visual flashing light and a buzzer. Immediately alerts the operator of where setting pins, sewing needles, or sewing machine needles, staples and other metal objects are left in materials.
